There comes a time when it becomes necessary to pull oneself up beyond the known, to surrender to being wrapped up awhile in blinding strands of uncertainty about the present form a life has taken.

There comes a time when it is most natural and appropriate to withdraw completely from established patterns that have necessitated crawling around opportunistically, groping for fulfillment.

There comes a time when the deep desire for "more" no longer references external things.

There comes a time when it becomes natural to completely dissolve all Self-limiting beliefs.

Then, in time, comes the unprecedented experience of emerging into an unfettered and exemplary life, aloft on the supportive currents of Heaven.

What results from intensive introspection can not be adequately assessed by external standards, just as Soul level transformation can never be truly comprehended in purely rational terms. What you will access through these images is a privileged glimpse into the intensely personal imaginal life of one individual. While any piece may serve as an eloquent visual communication, each was created in a very primary way for the Self-expression, healing and sole/Soul satisfaction of the artist.

This body of work represents a process of evolution reflected in a group of distinct but interrelated series. At any time the artist may be moved to work intensively in any one "vein", so to speak. Or she may shift between several engaged briefly, but repeatedly. Each series uniquely serves a particular function in relationship to the whole "body of work" aesthetically, emotionally and spiritually; rather the way a living organism has distinct systems and processes that must operate simultaneously or consecutively in a highly integrated manner to sustain life.

While the diverse creations produced inside of Chrysalis Studio do not in any way attempt to illustrate or demonstrate different bodily functions in any literal manner, the metaphorical extension is useful. Since any viable (artistic) development requires inspiration, processing, generative actions and release, balance must be accomplished not only within each completed piece but throughout the larger whole. Consequently, the work from Chrysalis Studio commences holistically in various media, techniques and subjects on an intuitively guided and highly responsive "as needed" basis.
